While returning from Chanchal, Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari met BJP leaders at the Gazol Toll Plaza.

After attending a “Paribartan Sabha” in Chanchal, Malda, Suvendu Adhikari stopped at the Gazol Toll Plaza on National Highway 12 and met local BJP leaders. During the meeting, Ganguly Sarkar, the Leader of the Opposition in the Gazol Panchayat Samiti, and Pradyut Kumar Sardar, Deputy Pradhan of Gazol-1 Gram Panchayat, felicitated Suvendu Adhikari. Several other BJP leaders were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Ganguly Sarkar said that Suvendu Adhikari had promised to meet them on his return journey. “Accordingly, we were waiting at the toll plaza. On seeing the BJP flags, Suvendu babu stopped his vehicle and spoke with us. We informed the Leader of the Opposition about our various problems and difficulties. We are not being allowed to work and are not receiving any facilities. He listened to all our concerns very attentively,” she said.

She further added that Suvendu Adhikari assured them that he would take necessary steps regarding these issues in the coming days. On behalf of the Gazol BJP, Suvendu Adhikari was felicitated with a bouquet of flowers at around 5 pm on Friday.
